To Josh

I've struggled for a while about what to write about you because there just aren't enough words to describe how proud we have been for you this year, both personally and in football. Your dad and I have watched you play football for four years now and we both agree that this has been your best year ever. We have been so proud to watch you learn the game, learn the plays and develop a love of the game. We've enjoyed sharing your excitement before and after each game.

We also know that the changes in our family-- adding a sister -- have affected you this season and we could not be more proud at how mature you have been in accepting, loving and obviously adoring your new baby sister. We are so proud of the young man we are watching develop before our eyes.

And while we might not say it nearly enough, we are VERY proud of you. We always knew you were a champion and now you, along with each of your teammates, have the title to prove it. This is a year you and our family will most certainly never forget.

We are especially appreciative, as well, to each of your coaches who have exemplified what good sportsmanship and true character are during our entire season. We are pleased that Josh had a chance to play for each of you.

We love you, Josh!
Mama, Daddy and Ellie
